Gaetano Di Rosa

Press Photographer

Gaetano Di Rosa discovered his passion for photography at a young age. What began with taking pictures of family and friends soon evolved into a focused interest in amateur football and music events. During his school years, he contributed as both a writer and photographer for the Saarbrücker Zeitung.

His first professional experiences came in 1988, covering international football matches featuring the national teams of Luxembourg and Italy, as well as key Serie A fixtures between SSC Napoli, led by Diego Maradona, and AC Milan with Franco Baresi. Early concert photo reports of legends like Deep Purple, Rory Gallagher, Status Quo, and Michael Jackson marked the beginning of his career as a press photographer.

Between 2000 and 2012, Gaetano received numerous accreditations across the professional sports spectrum – from American Football to bobsleigh competitions. From 2013 to 2020, he worked as a freelance photographer for Kreiszeitung Böblinger Bote.

Since 2020, he has been working as a dedicated press photographer, specializing in concerts, professional football, and volleyball.
