The biggest standalone event in German women’s football took place for the 16th time on May 1, 2025, in Cologne. With 44,400 fans in attendance, the cup final was sold out for the second year in a row. In the end, FC Bayern deservedly claimed a 4–2 victory over Werder Bremen.
